Private line locating in Lafayette, IN
We find the lines 811 does not mark
811 marks the public utilities, for free. But the sewer line from your house to the street, the septic tank out back, and the wire running to your garage or lamp post are usually yours. Nobody marks those. We do. Call for pricing — call or text (765) 551-7368.

Call 811 first
Before you dig, call 811 or put in a request with Indiana 811 online. It is free, and they mark the public utility lines — gas, power, water, and others.
We do not replace 811. We find the private lines they do not mark, like your sewer lateral, septic system, and wire you ran to a garage or shed. Use both.
What we locate
Private lines on your property
We use a Milwaukee locator, which works with our sewer camera’s sonde and with transmitter line tracing, and a Klein breaker tracer for wiring inside the house.
Sewer lines and laterals
Where your sewer line runs from the house toward the street or main, and how deep it is at points along the way.
Septic tanks, lids, and lines
Find a buried tank or lid before a pump-out, and trace the line from the house to the tank.
Buried electrical
Power to a garage, shed, lamp post, or outbuilding — so you know where not to dig.
Wire and breaker tracing
Which breaker feeds what, and where a hidden wire runs in a wall.
We can also try to trace invisible dog fence wire and some sprinkler lines. Call and tell us what you have.

Short answers
Before you book
Do I still need to call 811?
Yes. Call 811 (or use Indiana 811 online) a few days before you dig. It is free, and they mark the public utility lines. We find the private lines they do not mark. Use both.
What does 811 not mark?
Usually anything past the utility’s meter or connection: your sewer lateral, septic system, and buried wire you or a past owner ran to a garage, shed, or light. Those are private lines.
How much does line locating cost?
Call for pricing. Tell us what you are trying to find and where, and we will give you a price before we come out.
Who is this for?
Homeowners planning a fence, deck, garden, or dig. Landlords. Realtors and buyers who want to know where the sewer or septic is before closing.
What areas do you serve?
Lafayette, West Lafayette, and Tippecanoe County, plus Brookston, Delphi, Monticello, Oxford, and nearby towns.
